Over 1,300 49th Ward residents cast ballots in the PB49 2012 election! The voters chose to devote slightly more than half of the $1 million “menu money” (53%) to street resurfacing. The remainder will go towards new sidewalks, a new playground at Touhy Park, trees for our parkways, and artistic murals to grace the remainder of the CTA and Metra underpasses in our ward, as well as the CTA retaining wall at Dubkin Park.
Full information is found at PB49 Election Results 2012.
Stay tuned for updates on the progress and implementation of all the projects YOU CHOSE for your community!
