Alderman Joe Moore and the Arts & Innovation Committee of the 49th Ward Participatory Budgeting Project invite Chicago-based artists/muralists to submit their designs to paint one of twenty CTA and Union Pacific underpasses for the Rogers Park Mural Project 2012.
Final selections will be determined by a community vote. If you are interested, or know anyone who is interested in submitting a design for a mural, you can download the application by clicking on the link below.
Artists must either live in Chicago or have a studio based in Chicago. All designs must be received by midnight, Central Daylight Savings Time, on Monday, July 16, 2012 at rogersparkmuralproject2012@gmail.com.
